The vacancies are in Unarmed Branch (UB) and Armed Branch (AB) of Meghalaya Police.
Only Male and Female candidates who are domiciled in the State of Meghalaya are eligible to apply.
Note:-
i) The candidates should be able to speak, read and write at least one of the regional languages of the State.
ii) Candidates applying for posts of Driver are required to possess HMV/ LMV driving license.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 162 cms (157 cms for SC/ ST including other tribes of Meghalaya).
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cms (152 cms for SC/ ST including other tribes of Meghalaya).
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination, Trade Test and Personal Interview wherever applicable. The recruitment will take place only at 1st Battalion, MLP Mawiong and 2nd Battalion, MLP Goeragre.
