Graduate girls can apply for Sub-Inspector where Higher Secondary girls can apply for Constable. Eligibility criteria in brief is given below—
1. Sub Inspector: 10 Nos. (Gen-7; OBC-2; SC-1)
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from recognised University/ Institutes
Physical Standard: Height — 157 cm; Weight — as per medical standard (proportionate to height and age.
Age limit: between 20 years to 30 years as on 1/5/2012.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—Rs.34800 and Grade Pay—Rs.4200
2. Constable: 10 posts (OBC-6; SC-4)
Qualification: Higher Secondary (Class 12) pass .
Physical Standard: height — 157 cms; Weight— proportionate to height and age as per medical standard.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade Pay—Rs.2000
Age: between 18yrs to 27 yrs as on 1/5/2012.
Selection steps: Candidates will be selected through Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Examination, Medical Examination and Interview.
