Under Ministry of Home Affairs—Directorate General Border Security Force is recruiting 403 Boys as Sub Inspector and Constable. Name of post and qualification required is given below:
1. Constable (Vehicle Mechanic): 74 Nos. (Gen-2, OBC-38, SC-20 and ST-14)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass boys with Vehicle Mechanic Trade’s Certificate from I.T.I. OR working experience of 3 years in any well-known industries can apply.
2. Constable (Welder): 26 Nos. (Gen-9, OBC-14, ST-3)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass boys with Welder Trade’s Certificate from I.T.I. OR working experience of 3 years in any well-known industries can apply.
3. Constable (Fitter): 39 Nos. (Gen-20, OBC-10, SC-6, ST-3)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass boys with Fitter Trade’s Certificate from I.T.I. OR working experience of 3 years in any well-known industries can apply.
4. Constable (Auto Electrician): 47 Nos. (Gen-13, OBC-17, SC-11, ST-6)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass boys with Auto Electrician Trade’s Certificate from I.T.I. OR working experience of 3 years in any well-known industries can apply.
5. Constable (Turner): 17 Nos. (Gen-12, OBC-5)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass boys with Turner Trade’s Certificate from I.T.I. OR working experience of 3 years in any well-known industries can apply.
6. Constable (Operator Tire Repair Plant): 36 Nos. (Gen-18, OBC-9, SC-6, ST-3)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass boys with Operator Tyre Repair Plant Trade’s Certificate from I.T.I. OR working experience of 3 years in any well-known industries can apply.
7. Constable (Black Smith/Ten Smith): 50 nos. (Gen-23, OBC-17, SC-6, ST-4)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass boys with Black Smith/Tin Smith Trade’s Certificate from I.T.I. OR working experience of 3 years in any well-known industries can apply.
8. Constable (Store Keeper): 39 Nos. (gen-20, OBC-10, SC-6, ST-3)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass boys with Store Keeper Trade Certificate from I.T.I. OR working experience of 3 years in any well-known industries can apply.
9. Constable (Painter): 7 Nos. (Gen-5, ST-2)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass boys with Painter Trade Certificate from I.T.I. OR working experience of 3 years in any well-known industries can apply.
10. Constable (Upholster): 25 Nos. (Gen-14, OBC-5, ST-3, SC-3)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass boys with Upholster Trade’s Certificate from I.T.I. OR working experience of 3 years in any well-known industries can apply.
Pay Scale for all the above post is Rs.5200- 20200 and Grade Pay- Rs.2000
11. Sub Inspector (Vehicle Mechanic): 21 Nos. (Gen-12, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass Boys with Automobile, Mechanic or Auto Engineering Diploma Course of 3 years can apply for the post. Pay: Rs. 9300-34800 and Grade Pay- Rs.4200.
12. Sub- Inspector (Auto Electrician): 11 Nos. (Gen-8, OBC-2, SC-1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass Boys with Automobile, Mechanic or Auto Engineering Diploma Course of 3 years can apply for the post. Pay: Rs. 9300-34800 and Grade Pay- Rs.4200.
13. Sub Inspector (Store Keeper): 11 Nos. (Gen-8, OBC-2, SC-1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass Boys with Automobile, Mechanic or Auto Engineering Diploma Course of 3 years can apply for the post. Pay: Rs. 9300-34800 and Grade Pay- Rs.4200.
Required Age for all the above mentioned posts is 18 years to 25 years for Sub-Inspector and 20yrs- 25yrs for the post of Constable. Age relaxable for OBC-3 yrs, SC/ST-5yrs and Ex-Serviceman- as per govt. norms.
Physical Height and Measurement: Height- 165 CM, Chest (un-expanded/Expanded)- 75cm/80cm, and Weight should be corresponding to height, Eye Sight: 6/6 and 6/9. SC/ST, Adivasis will receive 5cm cut-off in Height and 2cm cut-off in Chest. Candidates should be physically well built without any disputes.
For candidates selection, there will body measurement, written examination, practical test and interview. Finally there will be Medical examination.
For Written Test, there will be Objective Multiple Choice Types Questions of One and half hour at the following Centers, given with Code: 1.Kolkata (07); 2.Guwahati (08) and 3.Agartala (09)
How to apply: Application on plain paper as per format along with the following Attested documents:
- Copy of Madhyamik marksheet for age proof
- Educational and experience certificate
- Self addressed 2 nos envelope (25×12 cm) with affixed postal stamp of Rs. 27 on each
- Caste certificate
- 3 nos pass port size photo, one affix on application and one on Admit card and then make attested from Gazetted officer. 3rd copy enclose with the application without attestation.
- Crossed Postal Order/ Bank Draft of Rs.50 in favour of address where candidates wish to send according to choice of Centre. (Address given below)
On the top of the envelope, containing application form, write: “Application for the post of ……………”
