Recruitment of 77 boys for the post of Sub-Inspector (Technical/Radio Operator/Crypto) in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)

Central Reserve Police Force (Communication Directorate) is recruiting 77 Boys for the post of “Assistant Sub Inspectors (Technical)”, “Sub Inspector (Radio Operator)” and “Sub-Inspector (Crypto)”. Qualification and other details were given below.

1. Assistant Sub- Inspector (Technical): 63 Nos. (Gen-15, OBC-10, SC-19, ST-13, Ex-Ser- 6)
Qualification: B.Sc with English, Mathematics and Physics done candidates may apply. Madhyamik pass Candidates with subjects—English, Physics, mathematics and may have done Radio Engineering, Electronics or Computer Engineering’s 3 years Diploma course may also apply.
First preference will be given to those candidates who have knowledge in Computer Hardware and Software.
Age should be between 18yrs to 25 yrs. Pay scale per month will be Rs.5200-20200. Grade pay—Rs.2800.

2. Sub Inspector (Radio Operator): 10 Nos. (Gen-1, OBC-4, SC-1, ST-4, Ex-serv.-1)
Qualification: Graduate in Science stream with subjects—Mathematics and Science/ Computer Science may apply.
Age should be between 30 yrs. Pay scale per month will be Rs.9300-34800. Grade Pay—Rs.4200.

3. Sub-Inspector (Crypto): 4 Nos. (Gen-2, OBC-1, SC-1)
Qualification: Graduate pass in Science stream with Mathematics and Science, may apply for the post.
Age and payscale is same as above.

Physical Measurement: For all the above mentioned posts, Height: 170cm and Chest (un-expanded/expanded): 80cm/85cm. Height for candidates from Assam, Tripura, Gorkha and Sikkim: 165cm and SC/ST: 162.5cm, in chest, they will receive cut-off of 2 cm.
Weight should be correspondence to height and age. Candidates should be physically fit and wel built.

Selection of Candidates: First height and weight measurement will be taken and then Physical Ability Test, which will be—100 mtr race within 16 seconds, 2. Race of 1.6 KM within 6.5 minutes, 3. Long jump of 3.65 mtr within 3 chances,  4. High Jump of 1.2 mtr within 3 chances and 5. Short pat of 4.5 mtr within 3 chances.

After Physical Ability Test, there will be written Test. Date of Test will be known to candidates through Call letter which may release at the end of July. If candidates do not receive call letter within 10 August, they may contact the below address.

How to apply: Application form can be prepared according to the format (published on employments news paper). Along with application, following documents should be enclosed:

  • Attested Madhyamik Certificate for Age verification
  • Attested copies of Educational and Training Certificates
  • Attested copy Caste certificate
  • Attested copy of residential certificate (issued by State Government Authorities)
  • Recent 3 nos pass-port size photo (one copy pasted on application form, second copy pasted on Admit card after attestation from Gazetted officer and third copy should be stitched with the application.
  • One self-addressed envelope with affix postal stamp of Rs.25
  • No objection Certificate (issued by Govt. or Semi-Govt. offices/Undertakings/Enterprise.)
  • Attested copies of Sports certificate, if any
  • Crossed Postal Order of Rs.100 in favour of: “Commandant, 3 Signal BN, CRPF” and write payable at:”GPO Kolkata” No fee required for SC/ST candidates.

Candidates should apply only for any one of post. On the top of the envelope, write the name of the post applied for in capital letters.

The last day of submission: Application should reach within 30th June 2011
