1. SUB-INSPECTOR (EXECUTIVE) IN DELHI POLICE
No. of Vacancies: 169 Nos. (Male- 91 posts (UR-41, EWS-10, OBC-10, SC-13, ST-17), Female- 78 posts (UR-35, EWS-08, OBC-17, SC-12, ST-06))
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
ii) Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car).
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2021.
Pay Scale: Rs.35400 — Rs.112400
2. SUB-INSPECTOR (GD) IN CENTRAL ARMED POLICE FORCES (CAPFs)
No. of Vacancies: 1395 Nos. (UR-577, EWS-137, OBC-373, SC-209, ST-99. Out of the total posts, 139 posts are reserved for Es-servicemen)
Force wise vacancies:
i) Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF): 1072 posts (Male- 1040, Female- 32)
ii) Border Security Force (BSF): 244 posts (Male- 232, Female- 12)
iii) Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP): 43 posts (Male- 36, Female- 07)
iv) Central Industrial Security Force (CISF): 20 posts (Male- 18, Female- 02)
v) Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB): 16 posts (Male)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2021.
Pay Scale: Rs.35400 — Rs.112400
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The posts are in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.
Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates are not eligible to apply.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cm (162.5 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 80 cm (77 cm for ST); Chest (expanded) — 85 cm (82 cm for ST); Weight — Corresponding to height.
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cm (154 cm for ST candidates); Weight — Corresponding to height.
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Examination (Paper-I and Paper-II), Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). The Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) will be held from 29/09/2020 to 05/10/2020 and Computer Based Examination (Paper-II) will be held on 01/03/2021. The examination will be conducted in various centres across India.

Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC, ST, WOMEN AND EX-SERVICEMEN CANDIDATES.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Staff Selection Commission (SSC) — https://ssc.nic.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 17/06/2020 to 16/07/2020.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
