Central Government’s—Indo Tibetan Border Police Force is recruiting 134 Boys/Girls for the Post of Sub-Inspector. Any candidate who meets the below given qualification and requirement can apply for the post.
1. Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse): 36 Nos. (Gen-20, OBC-6, SC-6, ST-4)
Candidate with Higher Secondary in any stream and General Nursing and Mid wife Course pass can apply for the post. Should have name registered in Central or State Nursing Council. Working experience of 3 years as a nurse is good.
Age should be between 21yrs to 30 yrs. Pay scale: Rs.9300- 34800, grade pay: Rs.4200
2. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Pharmacist): 48 Nos. (Gen-13, OBC-21, SC-7, ST-7)
Madhyamik (Class-10) pass candidates with Pharmacist’s Diploma Course pass from central or State govt. recognized institution. Should have name registered as Pharmacist.
Age should be between 20 to 28 yrs. Pay scale: Rs. 5200-20200 per month. Grade pay: Rs.2800.
3. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Laboratory Technician): 39 Nos. (Gen-22, OBC-12, SC-4 and ST-1)
Madhyamik (Class-10) pass with science and Medical Laboratory Technology Diploma pass from any govt. recognized institution can apply. Should have working experience of 1 year as a Laboratory Technician.
Age should be between 20 yrs to 28 yrs. Pay- Rs.5200-20200 and Grade pay- Rs.2800
4. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Radiographer): 2 Nos. (GEN only)
Madhyamik pass with science and have done Radio Diagnosis’s course from any govt. recognized institutes can apply. Should have working experience of 1 year.
Age and pay scale will be same as above post.
5. Head Constable (Mid Wife): 9 Nos. (OBC)
Madhyamik pass with Auxiliary Nursing Mid-wifery’s Course pass from any Govt. recognized institute or centre. Should have name registered in Central or State Nursing Council.
Age should be between 18 to 25 yrs. Pay—Rs. 5200-20200, grade pay—Rs.2400.
For all the above mentioned post, age should be counted on according to dated 15-3-2011. Age relaxation for OBC-3yrs, SC/ST- 5yrs, Govt. workers and Ex-Service will receive age relaxation as per govt. norms
Physical height and Weight: Height—170 cm in case of Boys and 150 cm in case of Girls. (More details on website)
For selection of candidates, first there will be Height and Weight measurement and then Physical Ability Test. There will be no physical ability test for Ex-Serviceman. If selected, there will be Written Test of 50 marks and then Interview of 25 marks.
How to apply: Application can be prepared by neatly typing as per given format and then filling it in own handwriting. Along with application, candidates should enclose the following documents:-
- Neatly typed Admission Card (as given on format) on 8X11 Inches paper and then fill it in own handwriting.
- 2 nos. 4X9 inches self addressed envelope with postal stamp of Rs. 5

- Attested copies of educational, Birth, experience and etc certificates
