1. SUB-INSPECTOR OF POLICE
No. of Vacancies: 47 Nos. (UR-23, SC-08, ST-11, SEBC-05. Out of the total posts, 01 post is reserved for Ex-servicemen)
Educational Qualification: i) Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
ii) The candidates who have not taken Odia as a subject in HSC standard must possess requisite certificate of passing ME standard in Odia as a Language subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 25 years as on 01-01-2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.16880 per month.
2. STATION OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 13 Nos. (UR-07, SC-02, ST-04)
Educational Qualification: i) Must be a Science or Engineering Graduate.
ii) The candidates who have not taken Odia as a subject in HSC standard must possess requisite certificate of passing ME standard in Odia as a Language subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 25 years as on 01-01-2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.16880 per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC, ST, SEBC and Women candidates. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis.
Women candidates are not eligible to apply for the post of Station Officer (Fire Service).
PWD candidates are not eligible to apply for both the above posts.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Physical Measurement & Physical Test, Main Written Examination, Assessment of weightage mark for NCC Certificate, winning medal in National/ International sports events and Viva voce-cum-Psychological Test.
