SUPREME COURT OF INDIA INVITES APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT IN THE POSTS OF COURT ASSISTANT (SR. TRANSLATOR/ JR. TRANSLATOR). LAST DATE – 20/01/2015
1. Senior Court Assistant (Senior Translator)
Qualification: Master’s Degree AND Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa from University/Institute OR 3yrs experience in the field.
Candidates shall have knowledge of computer.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4600/-
2. Court Assistant (Junior Translator)
Qualification: Graduate with English/Hindi as one of the languages at the degree level AND Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa from University/Institute recognized by the Government OR 2yrs experience in the field.
Candidates shall have knowledge of computer.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-

Age Limit: 18—27yrs as on 20.01.2015. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per govt. norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Translation test (i.e. from Hindi to English and vice versa)
