Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL) is recruiting 109 persons as Semi-Skilled (B) Trainee And Graduate Engineer Trainee in discipline of – Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environment and Instrumentation for its 600 tpd Lime Sludge and Fly Ash Management system being set up at Kagithapuram in Karur District, Tamilnadu and Offsites at various Sugar Mills/ Wind Farms. The Training period will be of 2yrs after which they will be absorbed in regular scale. Eligibility norms in brief is given below—
SEMI-SKILLED (B) TRAINEE—
1. Semi-skilled (B) Trainee (Chemical): 8 Nos. (GT—3; BC—3; MBC/DNC—1; SC—1)
Qualification: First class diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology.
2. Semi-skilled (B) Trainee (Mechanical): 8 Nos. (GT—2; BC—2; MBC/DNC—2; SC Arunthathiyar—1)
Qualification: First class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
3. Semi-skilled (B) Trainee (Electrical): 4 Nos. (GT—1; BC—1; MBC/DNC—1; SC—1)
Qualification: First class Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
4. Semi-skilled (B) Trainee (Instrumentation): 4 Nos. (GT—1; BC—1; MBC/DNC—1; SC—1)
Qualification: First Class Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering / Instrumentation Technology/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering/ electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
ASSISTANT PLANT ENGINEER AND GRADUATE ENGINEER TRAINEE —
1. Assistant Plant Engineer (Mechanical): 2 Nos. (BC—1; SC—1)
Qualification: First Class full time B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 70% marks in aggregate (65% marks in case of SC candidates)
Post Qualification Experience: 2yrs of experience. Experience in Cement Industry is desirable.
2. Graduate Engineer Trainee (Chemical): 37 Nos. (GT—8; BC—10; MBC/DNC—11; SC—5; SC Arunthathiyar—2; ST—1)
Qualification: First Class full time B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / Pulp and Paper Technology, with 70% marks in aggregate (65% marks in case of SC / SC Arunthathiyar / ST candidates)
3. Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical): 22 Nos. (GT—5; BC—6; MBC/DNC—3; SC—6; SC Arunthathiyar—2)
Qualification: First Class full time B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 70% marks in aggregate (65% marks in case of SC / SC Arunthathiyar / ST candidates)
4. Graduate Engineer Trainee (Electrical): 14 Nos. (GT—3; BC—3; MBC/DNC—3; SC—4; ST—1)
Qualification: First Class full time B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 70% marks in aggregate (65% marks in case of SC / SC Arunthathiyar / ST candidates)
5. Graduate Engineer Trainee (Instrumentation): 5 Nos. (GT—1; BC—2; MBC/DNC—1; SC—1)
Qualification: First Class full time B.E./B.Tech. in Instrumentation Technology / Instrumentation & Control Engineering/Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, with 70% marks in aggregate (65% marks in case of SC / SC Arunthathiyar / ST candidates)
6. Graduate Engineer Trainee (Civil): 2 Nos. (MBC/DNC—1; SC—1)
Qualification: First Class full time B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with 70% marks in aggregate (65% in case of SC candidates)
7. Graduate Engineer Trainee (Environment): 3 Nos. (GT—1; MBC/DNC—1; SC—1)
Qualification: First Class full time B.E./B.Tech. in Environmental Engineering with 70% marks in aggregate (65% marks for SC) OR Full time Arts/Science Degree, with 60% marks, with First Class two years full time PG Degree in Environmental Sciences with 70% marks in aggregate (65% for SC).
Age limits: Maximum age as on 01/08/2012 for General Turn—25yrs, BC—25yrs, MBC/DNC—27yrs and SC/ST—30yrs
