Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: 

The educational qualifications for the Graduate Teachers/Block Resource Teacher Educators (BRTE) in Tamil Nadu are as follows:

• Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• Graduation with 50% marks and a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)
• Graduation with 45% marks and a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) following NCTE norms
• Higher Secondary with 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
• Higher Secondary with 50% marks and a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed
• Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education)

Candidates must also have a degree in the relevant subject, pass the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper – II with the relevant optional subject, and have an adequate knowledge of the Tamil language. Specific qualifications are required for certain positions related to special education. Equivalence of qualifications should be supported by relevant Government Orders (G.O.). Selection of candidates will be done in two successive stages namely Written Examination and Awarding of weightage marks during Certificate Verification. The examination will be held on 02.07.2017 from 10:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M.
