Technical Assistant/ Electrical

a) Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering: 455 posts
b) Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering: 35 posts
c) Computer Science / Information Technology: 10 posts

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering (OR) Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (OR) Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering (OR) Diploma in Instrumentation Technology (OR) Diploma in Computer Science (OR) Diploma in Information Technology (Regular/part time)
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and should have not completed-30 years (No age limit in case of reserved categories)
Pay Scale: Rs.5400/- Rs.20, 200/- and Grade pay Rs.2800/- pm

 

2. Technical Assistant/ Mechanical: 25 posts.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Regular/part time)
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and should have not completed-30 years (No age limit in case of reserved categories)

 

3. Assistant Draughtsman: 50 posts.
Educational Qualification: ITI Craftsmanship Certificate in the trades of Draughtsman (Civil) and Draughtsman (Mechanical)
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and should have not completed-30 years (32 years in case of MBC/DCs, BCOs, BCMs Candidates)
Pay Scale: Rs.5400/- Rs.20, 200/- and Grade pay Rs.2200/- pm

 

4. Field Assistant (Trainee): 900 posts.
Educational Qualification: ITI (National Trade certificate/National Apprenticeship certificate) in Electrical (OR) Wireman
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and should have not completed-30 years (32 years in case of MBC/DCs, BCOs, BCMs Candidates)
Pay Scale: Rs.5400/- Rs.20, 200/- and Grade pay Rs.1900/- pm

 

Note: Candidates should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview. Written Examination will be held on following Centre: Chennai, Coimbatore, Vellore, Villupuram, Erode, Thiruchirapalli, Madurai, Tirunelveli on 03/04/2016
