Positions Available:

Tax Assistant — 18 Vacancies

Havaldar — 11 Vacancies

Age Limit:

• Between 18 and 27 years as of 30.11.2023
• Relaxations: 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and additional relaxations for exceptional achievements in sports.

Mumbai Customs Recruitment 2023 Educational Qualification:

• Tax Assistant: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent, basic knowledge of computer applications, and a typing speed of at least 8000 key depressions per hour.
• Havaldar: Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Board.

Mumbai Customs Recruitment 2023 Physical Standards:

• Male Candidates: Height – 157.5 cms, Chest – 81 cms (fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cms), Physical test: Walking 1600 meters in 15 minutes.
• Female Candidates: Height – 152 cms, Weight – 48 kgs, Physical test: Walking 1 km in 20 minutes.

Tax Assistant and Havaldar Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have represented the Country in an International Competition/State in a Senior National Competition/University in an Inter-University Competition/State in a Jr. /Youth National Competition.

Only those who have represented India/State/University in the past four years (2020-2024) are eligible to apply.
