TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST 2018
1. TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER (ARTS)
Educational Qualification: i) B.A/ B.Com with at least 50% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
OR
ii) B.A/ B.Com with at least 45% marks (only for candidates who have passed B.Ed. upto 30/08/2009) and 50% marks (for candidates who have passed B.Ed. after 30/08/2009) one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE Regulations.
OR
iii) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
iv) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 04 years B.A.Ed.
OR
v) B.A/ B.Com with at least 50% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education).
Age Limit: No Upper age limit.
2. TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER (NON-MEDICAL)
Educational Qualification: i) B.Sc (NM) with at least 50% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
ii) B.Sc (NM) with at least 45% marks (only for candidates who have passed B.Ed. upto 30/08/2009) and 50% marks (for candidates who have passed B.Ed. after 30/08/2009) one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE Regulations.
OR
iii) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

3. TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER (MEDICAL)
Educational Qualification: i) B.Sc (Medical) with at least 50% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

ii) B.Sc (Medical) with at least 45% marks (only for candidates who have passed B.Ed. upto 30/08/2009) and 50% marks (for candidates who have passed B.Ed. after 30/08/2009) one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE Regulations.

Educational Qualification: Shastri with at least 50% marks from a recognized Institution/ University.

5. LANGUAGE TEACHER
Educational Qualification: i) B.A with Hindi as an elective subject and 02 years Diploma in Elimentary Education
OR
ii) B.A with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
iii) B.A with at least 45% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE Regulations.
OR
iv) B.A with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education
OR
v) Prabhakar (Honours in Hindi) with 50% marks followed by B.A Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
vi) M.A (Hindi) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
Age Limit: No Upper age limit.
6. JUNIOR BASIC TRAINING (JBT)
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized Board/ University and should possess two years JBT Certificate course from a recognized Instutute
OR
ii) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
iii) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 45% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance withb NCTE Regulations.
OR
iv) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
v) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education)
OR
vi) Graduation and two years Diploma in Elementary Education.
Age Limit: No Upper age limit.
7. PUNJABI LANGUAGE TEACHER
Educational Qualification: i) B.A with Punjabi as an elective subject and 02 years Diploma in Elimentary Education
OR
ii) B.A with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
iii) B.A with at least 45% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE Regulations.
OR
iv) B.A with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education
OR
v) Giani with 50% marks followed by B.A Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
vi) M.A (Punjabi) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
Note: Graduation from a recognized University with Punjabi as a subject during the 03 year of graduation, B.Ed. with teaching of Punjabi (State Teacher Eligibility Test).

8. URDU LANGUAGE TEACHER
Educational Qualification: i) B.A with Urdu as an elective subject and 02 years Diploma in Elimentary Education
OR
ii) B.A with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
iii) B.A with at least 45% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE Regulations.
OR
iv) B.A with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education
OR
v) B.T with 50% marks followed by B.A Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
vi) M.A (Urdu) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
Note:
i) Adeeb-Kamil from Jamia Urdu Aligarh will be considered/ equivalent to B.A with Urdu.
Moallim-e Urdu from Jamia Urdu Aligarh will be considered/ equivalent to B.Ed. for teaching Urdu.
ii) Pass in Urdu Language Teacher Eligibility Test by H.P Board of School Education Dharamsala.
Age Limit: No Upper age limit.
Relaxation upto 5% in minimum educational qualification and also in minimum qualifying marks for TET to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories of Himachal Pradesh.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 Examination. The examination will be held from 20/09/2018 to 09/09/2018 at various centres in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
