BOARD OF SCHOOL EDUCATION (HPBOSE) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST- NOVEMBER 2020 FOR TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER (ARTS/ NON-MEDICAL/ MEDICAL), SHASTRI, LANGUAGE TEACHER, JUNIOR BASIC TRAINING (JBT), PUNJABI LANGUAGE TEACHER AND URDU LANGUAGE TEACHER. 1. TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER (ARTS)
Educational Qualification: i) B.A/ B.Com with at least 50% marks and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
ii) B.A/ B.Com with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed upto 30-08-2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed after 30-08-2009).
OR
iii) One year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
iv) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
v) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04 years B.A.Ed.
OR
vi) B.A/ B.Com with at least 50% marks and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) (Special Education).
2. TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER (NON-MEDICAL)
Educational Qualification: i) B.Sc (NM) with at least 50% marks and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
ii) B.Sc (NM) with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed upto 30-08-2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed after 30-08-2009) 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR

4. SHASTRI
Educational Qualification: Shastri with at least 50% marks from a recognized Institution/ University.
5. LANGUAGE TEACHER
Educational Qualification: i) B.A with Hindi as an elective subject and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whichever name known).
OR
ii) B.A with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
iii) B.A with at least 45% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
iv) B.A with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Special Education.
OR
v) Prabhakar (Honours in Hindi) with 50% marks followed by B.A Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
vi) M.A (Hindi) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
6. JUNIOR BASIC TRAINING (JBT)
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized Board/ University and should possess 02 years JBT certificate course from a recognized Institute.
OR
ii) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
iii) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
iv) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
v) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education).
OR
vi) Graduation and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
7. PUNJABI LANGUAGE TEACHER
Educational Qualification: i) B.A with Punjabi as an elective subject and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
ii) B.A with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
iii) B.A with at least 45% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
iv) B.A with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Special Education.
OR
v) Giani with 50% marks followed by B.A Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
vi) M.A (Punjabi) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
Note:- Graduation from a recognized University with Punjabi as a subject during the 03 year of graduation, B.Ed with teaching of Punjabi (State Teacher Eligibility Test).
8. URDU LANGUAGE TEACHER
Educational Qualification: i) B.A with Urdu as an elective subject and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
ii) B.A with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
iii) B.A with at least 45% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
iv) B.A with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Special Education.
OR
v) B.T with 50% marks followed by B.A Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
vi) M.A (Urdu) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
There is no upper age limit to apply for the TET.
Relaxation upto 5% in minimum Educational Qualification and also in munimum qualifying marks for TET to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PHH categories of Himachal Pradesh.

Candidates’ Selection: The TET examination will be held on 29/11/2020 for JBT & Shastri, 06/12/2020 for TGT (Non-Medical) & Language Teacher, 12/12/2020 for TGT (Arts) & TGT (Medical) and 13/12/2020 for Punjabi & Urdu. The examination will be conducted in centres within Himachal Pradesh at District/ Sub-division Headquarters. For more details please see the official advt.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO H.P. BOARD OF SCHOOL EDUCATION (HPBOSE) AT THIS STAGE.
