1. POST GRADUATE TEACHER (PGT)
Name of the subjects: English, Hindi, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Psychology, Commerce, Computer Science/ Informatics, Home Science and Physical Education.
Educational Qualification: i) Masters Degree in respective subject and B.Ed.
ii) For Computer Science Informatics:- BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science/ IT/ Computer Engg/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communications.
2. TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER (TGT)
Name of the subjects: English, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Political Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer and Physical Education.
Educational Qualification: i) Degree in respective subject and B.Ed.
iii) For Computer:- BCA or Graduation in Computer Science or BE/ B.Tech (Computer Science/ IT) or Graduation in any subject and A level course from DOEACC.
iv) For Physical Education:- B.P.Ed Four years Degree Course or Three years Gradation plus One year B.P.Ed Diploma or B.Sc Physical Education, Health Education & Sports plus one year B.P.Ed Diploma.
3. PRIMARY TEACHER (PRT)
Educational Qualification: i) Graduate.
ii) B.Ed (four year integrated course of B.Ed) OR 02 year Diploma D.El.Ed.
AGE LIMIT AS ON 01/04/2020:-
i) For Fresh candidates (Less than 05 years Experience): Below 40 years (In the case of Delhi schools TGT/ PRT should be less than 29 years & PGT less than 36 years).
ii) For Experienced candidates (Those with more than 05 years teaching experience in the last 10 years): Below 57 years (In the case of Delhi 40 years).
The vacancies are in Army Public Schools (APS) located in various Cantonments and Military Stations across India. The vacancies could be Regular or Fixed Term in nature.
CTET/ TET is not mandatory for appearing in the Online Screening Test. However, CTET/ TET conducted by Centre/ State government is mandatory for appointment as TGTs/ PRTs.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Screening Test, Interview and Evaluation of Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency. The Online Screening Test will be conducted on 19th and 20th October, 2019 at various centres across the country. Interview and Evaluation of Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency will be conducted between November – March. For details please see the Official Advt.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
