ICMR – National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR) is recruiting eligible candidates for 08 posts of Technical Assistant and Technician. The vacancies are under the project entitled “A Pilot scale developing an alternate dengue/ chikungunya control strategy”. The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis up to 30.06.2019. ICMR – NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MALARIA RESEARCH (NIMR) WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 08 POSTS OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANT AND TECHNICIAN. WALK-IN DATE — 04.08.2018 & 11.08.2018

 

1. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in science from recognized university with 03 years’ field/ Lab experience from recognized institute or Master’s degree.
Experience: Working Experience in public health related projects.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 31,000/- per month.

 

2. TECHNICIAN ‘A’
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos. (UR-02, OBC-01, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: High School with one year field/ lab experience from Govt. or recognized Institute. Intermediate with Science shall be treated as equivalent to 02 years’ experience.
Desirable: Experience of 02 years of Laboratory work.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 16,000/- per month.

 

3. TECHNICIAN ‘C’
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: 12th pass in science subjects and two year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or one year DMLT plus one year field/ lab experience or two years’ field/ lab experience after 12th. B.Sc degree shall be treated as 03 years’ experience.
Desirable: Candidates having two years’ experience of laboratory work.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 18.000/- per month.

 

The vacancies are under the project entitled “A Pilot scale developing an alternate dengue/ chikungunya control strategy”. The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis up to 30.06.2019.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.
