ICAR-NATIONAL BUREAU OF FISH GENETIC RESOURCES (NBFGR) WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 04 POSTS OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANT, YOUNG PROFESSIONAL-I AND YOUNG PROFESSIONAL-II. WALK-IN DATE — 23/07/2019
1. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate in Fishery Science/ Marine Sciences/ Zoology with specialization in fisheries with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA/ CGPA.
Desirable: The candidate should have working knowledge of molecular biology techniques.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 23/07/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
2. YOUNG PROFESSIONAL-I (FHMD)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Graduate in Life Sciences or equivalent Diploma in Fishery Science/ any branch of Technology (Biological).
ii) First division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA in Intermediate and Graduation.
Desirable: Working experience in Microbiology/ Biotechnology will be preferred.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years as on 23/07/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 15,000/- per month.
3. YOUNG PROFESSIONAL-II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Post-Graduate in Life Sciences or equivalent Diploma in Fishery Science/ any branch of Technology (Biological).
ii) First division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA in Intermediate and Graduation.
Desirable: Working experience in Microbiology/ Biotechnology will be preferred.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years as on 23/07/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
4. YOUNG PROFESSIONAL-II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Post graduate degree in Life Sciences/ Zoology/ Fisheries from prestigious National/ International Institute with minimum 50% marks.
Desirable: i) Ph.D. in Life Sciences/ Zoology.
ii) Experience in Fish Biology and Taxonomy.
iii) Working knowledge in computer and familiarity with GIS and Remote Sensing techniques.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years as on 23/07/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
The vacancies are under different projects on Contractual basis.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be based on Academic Performance, Research Experience and Interview.
