1. TRADE APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 63 Nos.
Name of the Trades: Fitter, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic and Machinist.
State wise vacancies:
i) West Bengal: 30 posts (UR-11, EWS-03, SC-07, ST-02, OBC-07)
ii) Bihar: 08 posts (UR-04, EWS-01, SC-01, OBC-02)
iii) Odisha: 09 posts (UR-04, EWS-01, SC-01, ST-02, OBC-01)
iv) Jharkhand: 04 posts (UR-01, SC-01, ST-01, OBC-01)

Educational Qualification: Matric with two year ITI course in respective trades.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.07.2019.
2. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 106 Nos.
Name of the Disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics and Electronics.
State wise vacancies:
i) West Bengal: 48 posts (UR-19, EWS-05, SC-11, ST-02, OBC-11)
ii) Bihar: 14 posts (UR-07, EWS-01, SC-02, OBC-04)
iii) Odisha: 15 posts (UR-06, EWS-02, SC-02, ST-03, OBC-02)
iv) Jharkhand: 08 posts (UR-03, EWS-01, SC-01, ST-02, OBC-01)
v) Assam: 21 posts (UR-08, EWS-02, SC-02, ST-03, OBC-06)
Educational Qualification: Three years Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/ University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.07.2019.
3. TRADE APPRENTICE- ACCOUNTANT
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos. (UR)
State wise vacancies:
i) West Bengal: 02 posts
ii) Bihar: 01 post
iii) Odisha: 01 post
iv) Jharkhand: 01 post
v) Assam: 02 posts
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.07.2019.
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year under the Apprentices Act ,1961 in the above mentioned Trades/ Disciplines at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL)- Eastern Region (Marketing Division).
Note:-
i) The candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training in an Industry as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961/ 1973 as amended from time to time or job experience for a period of 01 year or more are not eligible to apply.
ii) Candidates who have completed 03 years after acquiring the prescribed qualification are not eligible to apply.
iii) Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications are not eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Documents Verification. The Written Test will be conducted at Kolkata, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi and Guwahati on 25th August, 2019 08th Sept, 2019. Admit card can be downloaded from 03rd Sept, 2019.
