Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) is inviting application for engagement of “Technician Apprentice” and “Graduate Apprentice” for a period of 12 months under the Apprentices Act 1973 & 1986. Eligible candidates who meets the below prescribed qualification may apply for the same in prescribed format. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —
TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying, recognized by Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai/ Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal (University of Technology of Madhya Pradesh)
Preference will be given to the candidates from Institutions of Virdhabh and Govt. Polytechnic Khirsadoh, Distt. Chhindwara (MP)
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed Diploma in Mine Surveying after March 2011 and had not been engaged earlier at any establishment, under Apprentices Act.
Period of Training: One year.
Stipend: Rs.2530/- per month (Consolidated).
GRADUATE APPRENTICE
Educational Qualification: B.Tech / Degree in Mining and Mine Surveying from recognized Institute. Preference will be given to the candidates from Institutions of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
Eligibility: Candidates must have pass B.Tech/ BE in Mining and Mine Surveying after March 2011 and had not been engaged earlier at any establishement.
Period of Training: One year.
Stipend: Rs.3560/- per month (Consolidated)

The following documents/ testimonials is to be enclosed with the Application form —
- Attested copies of Marksheet of final year of Diploma/ Degree/ B.Tech, as applicable
- Attested copy of Matriculation certificate for age verification
- Attested copy of Caste certificate, in case of SC/ST
- Two Self-addressed envelope (28×13 cms) with postal stamp of Rs.10/- on each.
- If the gap of passing Diploma or Degree/ B.Tech is more than one year, the affidavit has to be furnished on stamp paper, duly signed by Magistrate/ Notary.
