1. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 250 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical Engineering: 150 posts (SC-28, ST-02, OBC-41, OC-79)
ii) Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering: 30 posts (SC-06, ST-01, OBC-08, OC-15)
iii) Electronics & Communication Engineering: 20 posts (SC-04, OBC-05, OC-11)
iv) Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology: 29 posts (SC-05, OBC-09, OC-15)
v) Civil: 20 posts (SC-04, OBC-05, OC-11)
vi) Modern Office Practice: 01 post (OC)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering in the concerned discipline from a recognized Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 24/10/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.4000/- per month.
2. GRADUATE APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 191 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical: 115 posts (SC-22, ST-01, OBC-31, OC-61)
ii) Electronic & Electrical Engineering (EEE)/ Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) : 17 posts (SC-03, OBC-05, OC-09)
iii) Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE): 07 posts (SC-01, OBC-02, OC-04)
iv) Computer Science/ Information Technology: 20 posts (SC-04, OBC-05, OC-11)
v) Civil: 29 posts (SC-06, ST-01, OBC-07, OC-15)
vi) Chemical: 03 posts (SC-01, OBC-01, OC-01)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering or Technology in the concerned discipline from a recognized Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 24/10/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.6000/- per month.
Candidates possessing work experience of one year or above after completion of Diploma/ Degree are not eligible to apply.
Candidates who have passed their Diploma/ Degree, only in the last three years i.e., 2016, 2017 & 2018 are eligible to apply.
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for One year under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973 for the year 2018-2019.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be as per the criteria and guidelines given by the Board of Apprenticeship Training. The Certificate Verification will start from 19/11/2018.
