DIRECTORATE OF LIGHTHOUSES AND LIGHTSHIPS IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 04 POSTS OF NAVIGATIONAL ASSISTANT GRADE III, TECHNICIAN (DIESEL) AND TECHNICIAN (ELECTRONICS). LAST DATE — 30/09/2019
1. NAVIGATIONAL ASSISTANT GRADE III
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunication or Electronics and Communication or Electrical and Electronics from a recognised Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 30.09.2019.
2. TECHNICIAN (DIESEL)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: Passed Matriculation or its equivalent. Should have served as an Apprentice for at least 04 years in a reputable firm or in a Central or State Government establishment. Should have in addition 02 year practical experience.
OR
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised Institution with 02 years’ experience.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 30.09.2019.
3. TECHNICIAN (ELECTRONICS)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a combination of above from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualification.
Experience: One year experience.
Desirable: Experience in the handling of microwave equipment is desirable.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 30.09.2019.
The vacancies are in the Directorate of Lighthouses and Lightships (DLL), Port Blair.
Note: Candidates awaiting results of the final examination need not apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Document Verification.
