1. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 265 Nos. (Maharashtra- 190, Gujarat- 75)
Name of the Disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical and Electronics.
Educational Qualification: Three years Diploma in Engineering in respective discipline from recognized Institute/ University with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ ST candidates) in aggregate.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 29/02/2020.
2. TRADE APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 99 Nos. (Chhattisgarh-10, Dadra & Nagar Haveli-03, Goa-06, Gujarat-01, Maharashtra-30, Madhya Pradesh-40)
Name of the Trades: Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic and Machinist.
Educational Qualification: Regular Full time ITI in respective trade recognized by NCVT/ SCVT.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 29/02/2020.
3. TRADE APPRENTICE- ACCOUNTANT
No. of Vacancies: 112 Nos. (Chhattisgarh-04, Goa-03, Gujarat-24, Maharashtra-59, Madhya Pradesh-22)
Educational Qualification: Regular Full time Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) in aggregate from a recognized Institute/ University.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 29/02/2020.
4. TRADE APPRENTICE- DATA ENTRY OPERATOR (FRESH APPRENTICES)
No. of Vacancies: 12 Nos. (Gujarat-02, Maharashtra-09, Madhya Pradesh-01)
Educational Qualification: Class XII or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) in aggregate candidates from a recognized Board/ Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 29/02/2020.
5. TRADE APPRENTICE- DATA ENTRY OPERATOR (SKILL CERTIFICATE HOLDER)
No. of Vacancies: 12 Nos. (Gujarat-02, Maharashtra-09, Madhya Pradesh-01)
Educational Qualification: Class XII or its equivalent with Skill Certificate holder in Domestic Data Entry Operator with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) in aggregate from a recognized Board/ Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 29/02/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
The candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for 12 Months/ 15 Months under the Apprentices Act, 1961 at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL)- Western Region (Marketing Divison).
Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications will not be considered for apprenticeship.
The candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training in an Industry as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961/ 1973 as amended from time to time or job experience for a period of 1 year or more are not eligible to apply.
Candidates who have completed 03 years after acquiring the prescribed educational qualification as on 29/02/2020 will not be eligible for engagement as Technician Apprentices.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Document Verification. The Written Test will be conducted at Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Raipur, Panjim and Silvassa tentatively on 29/03/2020.
