1. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 222 Nos.
The vacancies are in the following Discipline: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics and Electronics.
Educational Qualification: Three years Diploma in Engineering in respective discipline from recognized Institute/ University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 30/11/2020.
2. TRADE APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 214 Nos.
The vacancies are in the following Trade: Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Accountant and Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices/ Skill Certificate Holder).
Educational Qualification: i) Regular Full time ITI in respective trade recognized by NCVT/ SCVT.
ii) For Accountant: Regular Full Time Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) from a recognized Institute/ University.
iii) For Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices): Class XII or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) from a recognized Board/ Institute.
iv) For Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders): Class XII or its equivalent with Skill Certificate holder in ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) from a recognized Board/ Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 30/11/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

The candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training in an Industry as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961/ 1973 as amended from time to time or job experience for a period of 01 year or more are not eligible. Candidates who have completed 03 years after acquiring the prescribed educational qualification as on date of reckoning i.e. 30/11/2020 will not be eligible for engagement. Candidates, who have undergone training and/ or having job experience for a period of one year or more are not eligible for applying.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Written Test. The Written Test will be held tentatively on 03/01/2021 at Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow and New Delhi.
