The candidates will be engaged as Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Amendment Act of 1973, for the training year 2019-2020. Candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year at Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), Valiamala in the disciplines mentioned below. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 87 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical: 53 posts
ii) Electrical: 07 posts
iii) Electronics: 13 posts
iv) Chemical: 01 post
v) Computer Science: 05 posts
vi) Civil: 06 posts
vii) Automobile: 02 posts
Educational Qualification: First class Diploma from a State Technical Board/ University in the respective field with not less than 60% marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 30/08/2019.
Stipend: Rs.3542/- per month.
The candidates will be engaged as Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Amendment Act of 1973, for the training year 2019-2020. Candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year at Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), Valiamala in designated disciplines as mentioned above.
Note:-
i) The candidates who have passed Diploma in/ after April 2017 are only eligible to apply.
ii) Courses recognized by Universities/ State Technical Boards from Southern region (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Pondicherry) will be given priority.
iii) Ex-Apprentices or current Apprentices in any firm/ organization are not eligible to apply.
iv) Candidates who have completed three years after acquiring the prescribed qualification or have work experience for a period of one year or more in any Govt./ Public Sector/ Private Sector Organization, are not eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.
