Mumbai Port Trust is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 11 posts of Technician/ Graduate Apprentices. The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for One year under Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2019-20 in Mumbai Port Trust, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Department, Apprenticeship Training Centre (ATC). 1. GRADUATE APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos.
Trade wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical: 02 posts
ii) Electrical: 03 posts
Educational Qualification: Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering/ Technology from a recognized University.
Age Limit: Minimum 14 years and there is no upper age limit.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.4984/- per month.
2. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos.
Trade wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical: 03 posts
ii) Electrical: 03 posts
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering/ Technology from a recognized Board of Technical Education.
Age Limit: Minimum 14 years and there is no upper age limit.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.3542/- per month.
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for One year under Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2019-20 in Mumbai Port Trust, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Department, Apprenticeship Training Centre (ATC).
Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.
Notes:-
i) Candidates, who have already undergone or undergoing apprenticeship training under Apprentice Act, 1961 in any organisations are not eligible to apply.
ii) The candidate should not have completed three years after passing of minimum qualification examination as on 01/06/2019.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on merit which is based on percentage of total marks obtained by the candidates in the examination of all semester and Document Verification. The candidates will be called for Document Verification and selection procedure at Apprenticeship Training Centre (ATC) Office.
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Mumbai Port Trust — www.mumbaiport.gov.in
