Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) is recruiting eligible candidates for 158 posts of Technician Apprentices. The candidates will be engaged as Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Amendment Act of 1973, for the training year 2019-20. The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICES

Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Automobile Engg.: 08 posts
ii) Chemical Engg.: 25 posts
iii) Civil Engg.: 08 posts
iv) Computer Sci/ Engg.: 15 posts
v) Electrical Engg.: 10 posts
vi) Electronics Engg.: 40 posts
vii) Instrument Technology: 06 posts
viii) Mechanical Engg.: 46 posts
Educational Qualification: First class Diploma (03 years duration) from State Technical Board/ University in the respective field with not less than 60% marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 16/09/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.3547/- per month.
The candidates will be engaged as Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Amendment Act of 1973, for the training year 2019-20. The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year.
Note:-
i) Candidates who have passed Diploma in/ after April 2017 are only eligible to apply.
ii) Courses recognized by Universities/ State Technical Boards from Southern region will be given priority.
iii) Ex-Apprentices or current Apprentices in any organization/ firm are not eligible to apply.
iv) Candidates with one year or more job experience in the relevant field either in Govt./ Public/ Private sectors are not eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.
