Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) is recruiting eligible candidates for 158 posts of Technician Apprentices (Engg). The candidates will be engaged as Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Amendment Act of 1973, for the training year 2019-2020. The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 158 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Automobile Engineering: 08 posts
ii) Chemical Engineering: 25 posts
iii) Civil Engineering: 08 posts
iv) Computer Science/ Engineering: 15 posts
v) Electrical Engineering: 10 posts
vi) Electronics Engineering: 40 posts
vii) Instrument Technology: 06 posts
viii) Mechanical Engineering: 46 posts
Educational Qualification: First class Engineering Diploma from recognized State Technical Board/ University in the respective field/discipline with not less than 60% marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 31/08/2019.
Stipend: Rs.3542/- per month.
The candidates will be engaged as Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Amendment Act of 1973, for the training year 2019-2020. The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year.
Note:-
i) Candidates who have passes Diploma in/ after April 2017 are only eligible to apply.
ii) Ex-Apprentices or current Apprentices in any organization/ firm are not eligible to apply.
iii) Candidates with one year or more job experience in the relevant field are not eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.
