The candidates selected for the posts at Sl. No. 1 & 2 will be posted to MVIT Resident Cell of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, SHAR, Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. For rest of the posts the initial posting will be at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards (For Fireman-A only):
(i) Height — 165 cm; Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cm; Chest (expanded) — 86 cm; Weight — 50 kg
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test, Skill Test, Physical Standard Test and Physical Endurance Test wherever applicable.
