Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Athletics (Men): 02 posts
ii) Basket Ball (Men): 02 posts
iii) Hockey (Men): 03 posts
iv) Wrestling (Men): 01 post
Educational Qualification: 10th Pass OR 10th Pass plus Course completed Act Apprentice/ ITI Certificate granted by NCVT in relevant trades.
Sports Qualification:
i) Represented the country in any of the following championships/ events:-
a) World Cup (Junior/ Senior Category)
b) World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category)
c) Asian Games (Senior Category)
d) Commonwealth Games (Senior Category).
OR
ii) At least 3rd Position in any of the following championships/ events:-
a) Commonwealth Championship (Junior/ Senior Category)
b) Asian Championships/ Asia Cup (Junior/ Senior Category)
c) South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category)
d) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category).
OR
iii) At least 3rd Position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships.
OR
iv) At least 3rd Position in National Games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympics Association.
OR
v) At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the ageis of Association of Indian Universities.
OR
vi) 1st Position in the Federation Cup Championship (Senior category).
Note: The achievements should be in the current and/ or immediate preceding 02 years i.e. from 01/04/2019 and the Sportsperson should be an active player.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2020.
Only Male candidates having Sports qualification are eligible to apply.
The vacancies are under Sports Quota through Open Advertisement for the year 2019-20.
The selected candidates will be on Training for a period of three years (for 10th Pass only). The candidates will undergo Probation for a period of two years after completion of training, if any.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Trials and Interview.
