Desert Flag exercise VIII

• Air Forces from the UAE, France, Kuwait, Australia, the UK, Bahrain, Morocco, Spain, the Republic of Korea, and the USA will all take part in the multilateral air exercise known as Exercise Desert Flag. 
• The exercise is slated to take place from February 27 to March 17.
• India participated in the Desert flag Exercise for the first time in 2021.
• UAE is in charge of the exercise. In addition, India and the UAE undertake two further drills. Both the EAGLE-II Air Force Exercise and the bilateral naval exercise BILAT fall under this category.

• এক্সারসাইজ ডেজার্ট ফ্ল্যাগ হল একটি বহুপাক্ষিক বিমান মহড়া যাতে সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাত, ফ্রান্স, কুয়েত, অস্ট্রেলিয়া, যুক্তরাজ্য, বাহরাইন, মরক্কো, স্পেন, কোরিয়া প্রজাতন্ত্র এবং মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের বিমান বাহিনীও অংশগ্রহণ করবে।

• অনুশীলনে নেতৃত্ব দেয় সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাত। ভারত সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাতের সাথে আরও দুটি অনুশীলন পরিচালনা করে। সেগুলো হল BILAT নামক দ্বিপাক্ষিক নৌ মহড়া এবং EAGLE-II নামক বিমানবাহিনীর মহড়া।
