Post Name: Senior Computer Assistant – 23 Permanent posts
Pay Scale – The pay scale for the Senior Computer Assistant positions is designated as Cell-1 of Level-9 of the Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018. This pay scale is determined by the Tripura State Civil Services (Revised Pay) (First Amendment) Rules, 2018. The candidates appointed to these positions will receive remuneration according to the specified level and cell in the pay matrix, as per the rules and regulations set by the government.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science or
- Graduate in any discipline with at least a 1-year Diploma Course in Computer or ‘O’ Level Course Certificate in Computer.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 40 years (as of 26-02-2024)
- Relaxation for ST/SC/Persons with Disabilities/Government servant candidates.
TPSC Computer Assistant Recruitment 2024 Application fees
The application fees for the Senior Computer Assistant positions are as follows: General candidates are required to pay Rs. 200/-, while ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates are charged Rs. 150/-.
TPSC Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for the Senior Computer Assistant positions involves a two-stage assessment. First is a written examination carrying 85 marks, covering English language proficiency, general knowledge, and job-oriented questions. Subsequently, a 15-mark Interview/Personality Test will be conducted for qualified candidates from the written test. The final selection is based on the cumulative performance in both the written examination and the interview. The Commission will call candidates for the interview in a ratio based on the number of vacancies, and the merit list will be prepared by adding the marks obtained in both stages. The entire process aims to evaluate candidates’ knowledge, skills, and personal qualities relevant to the position.
TPSC Senior Computer Assistant Recruitment 2024 How to Apply:
Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Tripura Public Service Commission (Tripura PSC) — www.tpsc.gov.in (See Application form’s link given below).
Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO TRIPURA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (TRIPURA PSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
