1. TRADE APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 168 Nos.

Name of the trades:- Fitter, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Data Entry Operator (Fresh Apprentices) and Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate holders).
Educational Qualification: i) Matric with regular full time ITI course in respective discipline recognized by NCVT/ SCVT.
ii) For Data Entry Operator (Fresh Apprentices):- Class XII or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) from a recognized Board/ Institute.
iii) For Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate holders):- Class XII or its equivalent with Skill Certificate holder in Domestic Data Entry Operator with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) from a recognized Board/ Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31/03/2020.
2. TECHNICAL APPRENTICE

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31/03/2020.
3. TRADE APPRENTICE- ACCOUNTANT
No. of Vacancies: 15 Nos. (PwBD: VH-05, HH-04, OH-04, MD-02)

Educational Qualification: Regular full time Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Institute/ University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31/03/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of 12/ 15 Months under the Apprentices Act, 1961 at Indian Oil, Marketing Division- Eastern Region (Marketing Division) in the States of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand and Assam.
Note:-
i) Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications are not eligible to apply.
ii) The candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training in an Industry as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961/ 1973 as amended from time to time or job experience for a period of 01 year or more are not eligible.
iii) Candidates who have completed 03 years after acquiring the prescribed educational qualification will not be eligible for engagement.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Document Verification. The Written Test will be conducted at Kolkata, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi and Guwahati. The tentative date of Written Test is 19/04/2020.
