The candidates will undergo One year Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 at different Units of Northeast Frontier Railway for the year 2018-2019 in various Trades. Trades:- Welder, Fitter, Electrician, Refrigerator and AC Mechanic, Carpenter, Diesel Mechanic, Painter, Turner, Lineman, Mason, Fitter Structural, Mechanist, Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance. For Trade wise vacancies, please see the Official Advt.
Unit wise vacancies:
i) Alipurduar (APDJ): 437 posts
ii) Rangia (RNY): 328 posts
iii) Lumding (LMG): 1004 posts
iv) Tinsukia (TSK): 331 posts
v) New Bongaigaon Workshop (NBQS) & EWS/ BNGN: 341 posts (NBQS-156, EWS/ BNGN-185) posts
vii) Dibrugarh Workshop (DBWS): 149 posts
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10th Class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Board and should possess ITI in relevant trades approved by NCVT/ SCVT.
Age Limit: Should have completed 15 years and should not have completed 24 years as on 18/09/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.6960 per month
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on Merit Basis on the basis of marks obtained in Educational Qualification and Document Verification.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.100/-. Fee can be paid through Crossed Postal Order drawn in favour of Principal Financial Adviser, Northeast Frontier Railway, Maligaon, payable at GPO/ Guwahati OR Fee can also be paid through Acount Payee Demand Draft drawn in favour of F.A & C.A.O, Northeast Frontier Railway, payable at SBI/ Maligaon Branch.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ ST, PWD AND WOMEN CANDIDATES.

Last Date and Address: The Application along with enclosures should reach at the respective Unit (for details please see the Official Advt.), on or before 31/10/2019 upto 05:00 PM.
Applications should be sent through Registered Post or can also be dropped in the Box kept in the Welfare Section of the Office of the Divisional Railway Manager (Personnel) of the respective Divisions or Assistant/ Senior Personnel Officer of respective Workshops on all working days.
