Trades: Machinist, Fitter, Turner, Welder (Gas and Electric), Painter (G), Carpenter, Electrician, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance, Electroplater, Foundryman, Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant), Stenographer (English), Secretarial Assistant, Information and Communication Technology System, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Tool and Die Maker (Press Tools Jigs and Fixtures), Machinist (Grinder), Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Electronic Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Plumber, Boiler Attendant, Refrigeration and AC Mechanic, Sheet Metal Worker, Pipe Fitter, Mason (Building Constructor), Tailor, Optical Worker, Forger and Heat Treater and etc.

 

Educational Qualification:
i) For Non-ITI Category:- Should have Passed Madhyamik (class X std or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and with 40% marks in Mathematics and Science each.

ii) For ITI Category:- Should have passed relevant trade test from any Institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT or any other authority plus passed Madhyamik/ Class X std or equivalent (Minimum 50% aggregate marks both in Matriculate/ Class X std and ITI).

Age Limit: Minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years as on 09/02/2020. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.

 

The candidates will engaged as Apprentices and will undergo apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 and amendments thereof in Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories located in different States across India.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on Merit basis based on percentage of marks in Madhyamik or Matriculation and ITI wherever applicable, Document Verification and Medical Examination.
