1. TRADE APPRENTICE (EX-ITI)
No. of Vacancies: 140 Nos. (Kolkata/ Ranchi)
The vacancies are in the following Trades:
Fitter, Welder (Gas & Electric), Electrician, Machinist, Pipe Fitter, Carpenter, Draughtsman (Mechanical), Programming and Systems Administration Assistant (PASAA), Electronic Mechanic, Painter, Mechanic (Diesel), Fitter (Structural), Secretarial Assistant (English), Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance (MMTM), Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance (ICTSM) and Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic.
Educational Qualification: Should have passed All India Trade Test (AITT) for Craftsmen Training Scheme and possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Govt. of India in the respective trade.
Age Limit: Minimum 14 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.7000 per month.
2. TRADE APPRENTICE (FRESHER)
No. of Vacancies: 40 Nos. (Kolkata)
The vacancies are in the following Trades:
Fitter, Welder (Gas & Electric), Electrician, Pipe Fitter and Machinist.
Educational Qualification: i) Should have passed Class 10th standard/ Madhyamik or equivalent examination from recognized Central/ State Board.
ii) ITI passed candidates or candidates who have appeared for ITI examination are not eligible for Trade Apprentices (Fresher) vacancies.
Age Limit: Minimum 14 years and maximum 20 years as on 01/01/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.6000 per month for 1st year and Rs.6600 per month for 2nd year.
3. GRADUATE APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 16 Nos. (Kolkata)
The vacancies are in the following Disciplines:
Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science & Information Technology and Civil.
Educational Qualification: i) Should have a Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or Institution in the respective discipline.
ii) Candidates who have passed Degree in Engineering/ Technology examination in the year 2017, 2018 or 2019 are only eligible.
iii) Candidates who possess work experience of one year or more are not eligible.
iv) Students who have completed Post Graduate qualification in Engineering (M.E/ M.Tech/ MBA) are not eligible.
Age Limit: Minimum 14 years and maximum 26 years as on 01/01/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.15000 per month.
4. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 30 Nos. (Kolkata/ Ranchi)
The vacancies are in the following Disciplines:
Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication and Civil.
Educational Qualification: i) Should have a Diploma in Engineering from a recognized State Council or Board of Technical Education in the respective subject.
ii) Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering examination in the year 2017, 2018 or 2019 are only eligible.
iii) Candidates who possess work experience of one year or more are not eligible.
iv) Students who have completed Post Graduate qualification in Engineering (M.E/ M.Tech/ MBA) are not eligible.
Age Limit: Minimum 14 years and maximum 26 years as on 01/01/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10000 per month at Kolkata and Rs.9000 per month at Ranchi.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
The candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for Twelve (12) Months/ as per Apprentice Act for the year 2020-21 under the Apprentices Act, 1961 as amended from time to time in the trades/ disciplines at Kolkata and Ranchi.
Note:- Candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship Training or undergoing Apprenticeship Training or registered for Apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship Act elsewhere are not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: The candidates will be selected based on marks scored in the Qualifying Examination in each trade/ discipline i.e. All India Trade Test (AITT) for Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI), Degree in Engineering examination for Graduate Apprentice, Diploma in Engineering examination for
Technician Apprentice and class 10th standard/ Madhyamik or equivalent examination for Trade Apprentices (Fresher). Shortlisted candidates shall undergo Medical Examination.
