The selected candidates will undergo One year Apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time) in the trades mentioned below at Koteshwar Hydro Electric Project, THDC India Limited, Koteshwar (Uttarakhand) for the year 2019-20. Trade wise vacancies:
i) Wireman: 04 posts
ii) Mechanic (Repair & Maintenance of Light Vehicle): 04 posts
iii) Stenographer (English): 04 posts
iv) Stenographer (Hindi): 04 posts
v) Apprentice Food and Beverage Service (Stewardship): 02 posts
vi) Apprentice Food Production (Cookery): 02 posts
vii) Mechanic (Domestic, Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Machines): 01 post
viii) Carpenter: 01 post
ix) Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA): 08 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) For Wireman and Carpenter trades:- Passed 8th class or its equivalent and ITI examination (regular) in respective trade.
ii) For Mechanic and COPA trades:- Passed 10th class examination and ITI examination (regular) in respective trade.
iii) For Stenographer trades:- Passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system and ITI examination (Regular) in respective trade.
iv) For Apprentice Food and Beverage Service (Stewardship) trade:- Passed 10th class exam under 10+2 system or its equivalent and broad based basic training in Hospitality sector under centre of Excellency scheme in food and beverage service (stewardship).
v) For Apprentice Food Production (Cookery) trade:- Passed 10th class exam under 10+2 system and broad based basic training in Hospitality Sector under Centre of Excellency scheme and advanced module of Centre of Excellence scheme in Food Production (cookery).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 10/10/2019.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Only candidates who are domicile of Uttarakhand are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will undergo One year Apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time) in the trades at Koteshwar Hydro Electric Project, THDC India Limited, Koteshwar (Uttarakhand) for the year 2019-20.
Note:-
i) Only those candidates who have successfully completed ITI (regular) in the year 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 are eligible to apply for Apprentice Training.
ii) Result awaited candidate need not apply.
iii) The candidates who after the completion of their education have undergone apprenticeship training in any organization, training or job experience of one year or more will not be considered eligible for apprenticeship training.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of merit list-cum-counseling formed on the basis of marks secured in Matriculation Examination (10th) and ITI Examination.
