Educational Qualification:
Must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also should possess the National Trade Certificate in respective trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT.
For Welder (Gas and Electric), Sheet Metal Worker, Lineman, Wireman, Carpenter and Painter (General) trades:- 8th class pass from recognized School and the National Trade Certificate in respective trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT.
Age Limit: Should have completed 15 years and should not have completed 24 years as on 13/03/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The candidates will undergo apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended from time to time, in different Workshops and Divisions of Eastern Railway for the year 2019-20.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on Merit basis based on marks secured in Matriculation/ 8th Standard and ITI Examination and Document Verification.
