No. of Vacancies: 275 Nos. (UR-115, EWS-28, OBC-75, SC-39, ST-18. Out of the total posts, 08 posts are reserved for PWD and 08 posts for ESM)

ii) Electronics Mechanic- 32 posts
iii) Fitter- 29 posts
iv) Instrument Mechanic- 15 posts
v) Machinist- 19 posts
vi) Painter (General)- 15 posts
vii) R & A/ C Mechanic- 19 posts
viii) Welder (Gas & Electric)- 23 posts
ix) Carpenter- 23 posts
x) Foundryman- 07 posts
xi) Mechanic (Diesel)- 14 posts
xii) Sheet Metal Worker- 29 posts
xiii) Pipe Fitter- 21 posts
Educational Qualification: SSC/ Matric/ Std X with minimum of 50% (aggregate) and ITI (NCVT/ SCVT) in relevant trades with minimum 65% (aggregate).
Age Limit: Born between 01/04/1999 to 01/04/2006 (for General/ OBC) and Born between 01/04/1994 to 01/04/2006 (for SC/ ST) as on 01/04/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training as per Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprentices (amendment) Act 2014 at the Naval Dockyard Apprentices School, Visakhapatnam, for the training years 2020-21 batch in various trades.
The training will commence from 01st April, 2020.
Note: The candidates should meet the prescribed Physical Standards requirement as laid by Indian Navy. For details please see the Official Advt.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination, Interview and Medical Examination. The Written Examination for all trades will be held at Naval Dockyard Apprentices School, Visakhapatnam on 29th January, 2020 and Interview will be held from 03/02/2020 to 06/02/2020. Date of Medical Examination is 04/02/2020 to 15/02/2020.
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Indian Navy

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should first register themselves through the Govt. web portal- www.apprenticeship.gov.in (See Application form’s link given below) and should apply online through the same portal on or before 05/12/2019.
Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and send it along with copies of testimonials, if instructed, such as qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc, at the below given address so as to reach on or before 12/12/2019.
