Trade Apprentice Training in Ordnance & Ordnance Equipment Factories for the year 2012-13. Apply betwee 26-11 to 17-12-2012

Ordnance Factory Board, Kolkata-01, Under Ministry of Defence, is inviting Application for Trade Apprentice Training in Ordnance & Ordnance Equipment Factories for the year 2012-13. Eligible and Interested candidates may apply Online from the official website of OFB between 26-11-2012 to 17-12-2012. Qualification norms and brief information is given below —

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED: Madhyamik pass (Class X) pass or equivalent with 40% marks in Aggregate and with 40% marks in each of Mathematics and Science.
OR
Should have done ITI and have passed trade test recognised by NCVT or SCVT or any other recognised Authority with duration as per Apprentice Act 1961.

Age Limits: between 14yrs to 22yrs as on 01-10-2012. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs; OBC—3yrs; PH—10yrs. For ITI done candidates – according to their training period and as per norms.

How to Apply: eligible and interested candidates may apply Online. After applying Online they should print-out the system generated Acknowledgement Slip.

The system generated print-out acknowledgement Slip is to be send at the respective address of the factories from where candidates wish to take the Apprenticeship training (refer the below given link for Address lists).

The print-out acknowledgement slip should be enclosed with attested copies of Qualification certificate, Trade Certificate, Age proof, Caste and Etc. Attestation should be done by Gazetted Officer or any competent Authority as per govt. rules.

Application fee: Candidates must enclose an Indian Postal Order (IPO) of Rs.30/- prepared in favour of Sr.GM/ GM of the Ordnance factory, where the candidates has applied for. Candidates should write the Serial No. of his/her computer generated Acknowledgement form at the reverse.
SC/ST/PH and female Candidates were exempted from Application fee (Indian Postal Order (IPO)) 

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination. Eligible candidates will be able to download their Admit Card in due course from the official site of Ordnance Factory Board in due course.

Last date of receipt of acknowledgement form along with enclosures: 27th December 2012.
