1. TRADE APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 17 Nos.
Trade wise vacancies:
i) Fitter- 09 posts
ii) Electrician- 02 posts
iii) Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)- 01 post
iv) PASAA/ COPA- 01 post
v) Welder- 04 posts
Educational Qualification: Passed ITI in Fitter/ Electrician/ Mechanic (MV)/ Computer Operator and Programming Assistant/ Welder trade.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 05/08/2020.
2. GRADUATE APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical- 02 posts
ii) Electrical- 01 post
Educational Qualification: i) B.E (Mechanical).
OR
ii) B.E (Electrical & Electronics).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 05/08/2020.
3. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (Electrical discipline)
Educational Qualification: Diploma (Electrical & Electronics).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 05/08/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
The candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of One (01) years under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in IREL (India) Limited, Manavalakurichi, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu.
Note:-
i) Candidates with qualification acquired through Distance Learning Mode or Part Time Mode or Correspondence Mode will not be considered.
ii) Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and rules made there under in any Govt./ Public Sector/ Private Industrial organization are not eligible.
iii) Candidates having higher/ professional qualification are not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on Merit basis based on marks scored in Educational Qualification, Document Verification and Medical Examination.
