Tradesman in Central Reserve Police Force

North – Eastern zone C.R.P.F. Group Center of Central Reserve Police Force is recruiting 410 Constable (Tradesman). Madhyamik Pass (Matriculation) candidates with knowledge in particular field can apply for the post by joining the Rally directly. Name of the post, qualification required, age limit and etc were given below:

1. Constable (Fitter): 25 posts (Gen-11; OBC-6; SC-4; ST-2; Ex-Serviceman-2)
2. Constable (Bugler): 51 posts (Gen-23; OBC-13; SC-8; ST-4; Ex-Serviceman-3)
3. Constable (Tailor): 9 posts (Gen-4; OBC-2; SC-1; ST-1; Ex-Serviceman-1)
4. Constable (Cobbler): 4 posts (Gen-2; OBC-1; SC-1)
5. Constable (Carpenter): 3posts (Gen-2; OBC-1)
6. Constable (Gardener): 2 posts (Gen-1; OBC-1)
7. Constable (Painter): 25 posts (Gen-11; OBC-6; SC-4; ST-2; Ex-Serviceman-2)
8. Constable (Fitter): 37posts (Gen-17; OBC-9; SC-4; ST-3; Ex-Serviceman-4)
9. Constable (Cook): 92 posts (Gen-41; OBC-23; SC-13; ST-6; Ex-Serviceman-9)
10. Constable (Water Carrier): 69 posts (Gen-32; OBC-17; SC-9; ST-4; Ex-Serviceman-7)
11. Constable (Safai Karmachari/Sweeper): 65 posts (Gen-30; OBC-15; SC-9; ST-4; Ex-Serviceman-7)
12. Constable (Barber): 19 posts (Gen-9; OBC-4; SC-3; ST-1; Ex-Serviceman-2)
13. Constable (Wireman): 34 posts (Gen-15; OBC-8; SC-4; ST-3; Ex-Serviceman-4)

Age Limit for all the above posts: 18-23yrs as on 1.8.2010 (Relaxable age for OBC: 3yrs; SC/ST: 5yrs; Ex-serviceman: as per rule)

Physical Standard:-
Height- 170cm (for Gorkha, Sikkimese and North-Eastern Zone’s candidates: 165 cm and for Tribal/Adivasi: 162.5 cm)
Chest (Expended/Unexpended): 85cm/80cm (for Gorkha, Sikkimese and North-Eastern Zone’s candidates: 2cm and for Tribal/Adivasi: 4 cm, Cut-off in cm as relaxable)
Weight: Body weight should be outcome of appropriate body height.
Eye sight: 6/6 and 6/9 without glass
Candidates should be physically and mentally fit in all other terms.

Qualification: Candidates should be Madhyamik Pass (Matriculation) with proper knowledge in the particular trade according to post applied, but in case of Constable (Fitter) candidate should be ITI in Automobile fitter or have pass Motor Mechanic Trade’s Certificate course as well as also have minimum 1 years working experience in any workshop.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200- 20300 Per month, Grade Pay: Rs.2000

Selection Procedure: For candidates selection- Physical-Test will be taken, this will include: Race of 1 mile within 10 minutes, Scrutiny of documents, height and weight measurement. If pass; a written examination of 100 Marks will be held in two parts 1. First part– 50 Marks of 50 questions on (i) General Awareness/General Knowledge, (ii) Elementary Arithmetic, (iii) Analytical aptitude, (iv) Reasoning Ability and (v) Basic English knowledge. 2. Second part- 50 Marks of Objective or Descriptive types question on particular trade.

Time allowed for the written test will be of 2 hours. Candidates acquiring 35% (OBC & SC/ST- 33%) will be selected for next step which will be Trade Test of 50 Marks. Candidates acquiring 20 Marks will be selected.
Finally Medically Fitness Examination carried by doctors will be held. There will be no Interview.

How to Apply: There is no need to submit or send application anywhere. Candidates can directly join the Rally on 20th December 2010 at the following address: Group Center, C.R.P.F., Khatkhati, P.O.- Dimapur, Karbi Alang, Shillong, Meghalaya. 

Candidates should present at 8 A.M


Notes: Candidates willing to join the Rally should bring the following documents along with them:

  • Madhyamik Pass (Matriculation) Certificate
  • Additional qualification/Trades/ITI or Technical Certificates
  • Caste Certificate in case of OBC, SC/ST
  • Sports, N.C.C. or any other Abilities Certificate (If any)
  • Discharge Certificate in case of Ex-Serviceman
  • Recent passport size 4 nos. photograph
