Southern zone Group center of Central Reserve Police Force is recruiting 719 Males/Females for the post of Constable (Tradesman). Qualification: Candidates with Madhyamik Pass (Matriculation) from recognized school/institute can apply for all the above post. Only for post of Fitter- candidates should have done I.T.I. in Automobile or trade in Motor Mechanic certificate with working experience of minimum 1 year.
Age Limit: For all the above mentioned post, candidates should be between 18yrs to 23 yrs as on dated- 1.8.2010 (Relaxable age for OBC: 3yrs; SC/ST: 5yrs; Ex-serviceman: As per govt. norms.)
Physical Standard:
For Males:– Height-170 cm (For Gorkhas, Sikkim’s and Northern zone candidates: 165 cm; SC/ST- 162.5)
For Females:– Height 157 cm (For Gorkhas, Sikkim’s and Northern zone candidates: 125 cm; SC/ST- 150 cm)
Chest:
For males only:- Unexpanded- 80 cm and expanded- 85 cm (Cut-off for Gorkhas, Sikkim’s and Northern zone candidates: 2 cm; SC/ST- 4 cm)
Eye sight: 6/6 and 6/9 without glass.
Candidates should be mentally as well as physically fit. No broken joints, color blind and Etc.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200- 20200/- Per month, Grade Pay: Rs.2000
Selection Procedure: For selection of candidates, physical test will be held and this will be consisting of (i) Race of 1 mile within 10 minutes. If selected all verifications of testimonials will be done.
Selected candidates will be called for written test which will be of 100 marks and will be taken in two parts.
First part will be of 50marks on 50 Objectives Types Question on (i) General knowledge/General awareness, (ii) Knowledge of elementary Arithmetic, (iii) Analytical aptitude, (iv) Reason and Logic and (v) Basic in English
Second part will be of 50 marks on Trade test and will be either Objective or Descriptive types. Obtaining 20 marks will qualify the candidate.
Finally there will be medical fitness test.
There will be no Interview for any above mentioned post.
