Govt. of India, Central Government Enterprise—NHPC is recruiting 254 nos. for the post of Trainee Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) and Trainee Officer (HR). Required qualification and No. of vacant post s were given below.
1. Name of the Post: Trainee Engineer (Civil)
Vacancies: 90 posts (Gen-47, OBC-24, SC-13, ST-06)
Qualification: Candidates who have done full time regular B.E./ B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from any recognized University / Institute by AICTE with min 60% marks or equivalent grade are eligible to apply. Candidates who have passed AMIE can also apply for the post.
2. Name of the Post: Trainee Engineer (Electrical)
Vacancies: 90 (Gen-47, OBC-24, SC-13, ST-06)
Qualification: candidates with full time regular B.E./ B.Tech. in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade can apply for the post. Candidates who have passed AMIE can also apply.
3. Name of the Post: Trainee Engineer (Mechanical)
Vacancies: 60 posts (Gen-32, OBC-16, SC-8, ST-4)
Qualification: Candidates with full time regular B.E/ B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade can apply. Candidates who have passed AMIE can also apply for the post.
4. Name of the Post: Trainee Officer (HR)
Vacancies: 14 posts (Gen-9, OBC-3, SC-1,ST-1)
Qualification: Candidates who have passed 2 year full time regular Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma I Personnel Management or MBA / MSW with specialization in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from recognized Indian University/ Institute by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade are eligible to apply.
Age limits for all the above given posts: Candidates should not be more than 30 years by age as on 01.04.2011. Age relaxation for OBC-3yrs, SC/ST-5 yrs, PH- 10 yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs. 20600- 46500 and other allowances.
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be on basis of Written Examination which will be of Objective Multiple Choice Types Questions and will be held at Kolkata, Gangtok, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Patna and Itanagar. Questions’ topics were—(I) 140 questions on concerned discipline, (II) General Awareness- 30 questions, (III) Test of Reasoning- 30 questions.
Selected candidates from Written Examination will be called for Interview. All information will be provided through e-mail.
How to Apply: Candidates will have to first register through online by visiting the official site: http://www.nhpcindia.com. Before registration through online, candidates should pay Registration fee of Rs.250 (no fee for SC/ST and PH candidates) by visiting any branch of State Bank of India and depositing the amount in A/c No. 31713133703 on NHPC and payable at CAG Branch, New Delhi. Deposit of amount should be made only through Pay-in-Slip which can be downloaded from the official site mentioned above.
After depositing the amount, now candidates can proceed to go online for registration. After following step by step, candidates should make print-out of computer generated registration slip. Now this Registration slip should be send to the below mentioned address only after duly sign on it and affixing passport size photograph on it and enclosing all the copies of documents such as—educational certificate, caste certificate, PWD certificate, Experience certificate (if any), photocopy of registration fee receipt and etc.
During Online registration, candidates will have to require scan copy of passport size photograph and Signature in JPG format (not more than 50kb).
Candidates should provide valid e-mail ID which should be at-least one year old.
Last date to Apply: Online Registration will be open from 9th May to 30th May 2011
And Print-out Application should reach within 14.06.2011 to the following address through Ordinary Post: Post Box No. 364 at Amar Nagar Post Office, Faridabad—121 003, Haryana.
On the top of the envelope, superscribe: “Advertisement No. NH/Rectt/01/2011, Post applied for……………….. & Category…………….. (Gen/OBC/SC/ST/PWD as the case may be.)
