1. DIPLOMA ENGINEER TRAINEE
No. of Vacancies: 55 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i. Mechanical: 28 posts
ii) Electrical: 15 posts
iii) C&I: 10 posts
iv) Civil: 02 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) For Mechanical: Full time regular Diploma in Mechanical/ Production Engineering with minimum 70% marks.
ii) For Electrical: Full time regular Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 70% marks.
iii) For C&I: Full time regular Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering with minimum 70% marks.
iv) For Civil: Full time regular Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 70% marks.
Note: SC/ST/PWD candidates should have at least pass marks in the above qualification and minimum 50% marks for Darlipalli Project Sisplaced/ PAP (Land Oustee).

2. ITI TRAINEE

Educational Qualification: Xth class pass plus full time regular ITI course in Fitter/ Electrician/ Instrument Mechanic trades respectively.

3. LAB ASSISTANT (CHEMISTRY) TRAINEE

Educational Qualification: Full time regular B.Sc with Chemistry (Chemistry must be subject in final year)/ Graduate in Industrial/ Applied Chemistry.

4. ASSISTANT (MATERIALS/ STOREKEPPER) TRAINEE
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) NCTVT in Storekeeping plus English typing speed of 30 WPM.
OR
Xth class pass plus full time regular ITI course in Fitter/ Electrician/ Electronics/ Instrument Mechanic trade plus English typing speed of 30 WPM.
ii) Proficiency in Computer Operation and familiarization with MS Office will be preferred.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years (37 years for Darlipalli Project displaced/ PAP (Land Oustee)) as on 24/11/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.11500-26000/-
The vacancies are for Darlipalli Super Thermal Power Project, Sundergarh (Odisha) under Eastern Region- II of NTPC Limited.
The selected candidates will undergo Training for a period of two years. The candidates will be paid a consolidated Stipend of Rs.15,500/- per month for the post of Diploma Engineer Trainee & Rs.11,500/- per month for the post of ITI Trainee/ Lab Assistant (Chemistry) Trainee/ Assistant (Materials/ Storekeeper) Trainee.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Online Test and Skill Test wherever applicable. The Test will be held in the following centres- Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Berhampur and Balasore. The Computer Based Online Test will be held tentatively in the Last week of December 2018. The 2nd stage Online Test for Diploma Engineer Trainee will be held tentatively in 3rd/ 4th week of January 2019.
