TRIPURA FOREST SERVICE GRADE-II
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-03, SC-02, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Science of any recognised University or equivalent with at least one of the following subjects- Agriculture, Botany, Engineering (Agriculture/ Chemical/ Civil/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical), Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology or Honours Certificate holder from any of the Government Forest Rangers College Provided he/ she is sponsored by State/ Union Territories.
Desirable: Knowledge in Bengali.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/06/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and Govt. Servants.
The posts are Permanent in nature and are under General Administration (Personnel & Training), Government of Tripura.
Note:- SC/ ST candidates of states other than Tripura will be treated as General category candidates.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 163 cm (152.5 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 84 cm; Chest (expanded) — 89 cm
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 150 cm (145.0 cm for ST candidates); Chest — 79 cm; Chest (expanded) — 84 cm
Note:- For Gorkha, Nepalies, Assamese, Meghalaya, Ladakhis, Sikkimese, Bhutanese, Gorkhalies, Kumaonies, Nagas, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizos, Lahula and Soiti candidates the physical standards will be same as mentioned for ST candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Efficiency Test, Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Personality Test.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs.300/- (Rs. 250/- for ST/ SC/ BPL card holders Candidates). Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Tripura Public Service Commission (Tripura PSC) — www.tpsc.gov.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 09/06/2020 to 08/07/2020 upto 05:30 PM.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO TRIPURA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (TRIPURA PSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
