1. Graduate Teacher (STGT) for classes IX-X
No. of vacancies: 1294 Nos. (UR-673, SC-220, ST-401 out of which PWD-38, ESM-26)
Educational Qualification: Graduate/ Post Graduate with at least 50% marks in either graduation or post graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) OR Graduate/ Post Graduate with at least 45% marks in either graduation or post graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) OR Four years degree of B. A. Ed. / B.Sc. ED.
(Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PWD will get up to 5% relaxation in the above qualification)
Graduate Teacher (STGT) for classes IX-X in the following subjects:
1. Social Science (Bengali, English, History and Geography)
2. Biological Science (Zoology, Botany and Physiology)
3. Pure Science (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)
Age Limit: Maximum-40 years as on 09.09.2016
Consolidated Pay: per month.
2. Post Graduate Teacher (STPGT) for classes XI-XII
No. of Vacancies: 791 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) OR Post Graduate Degree possessing 45% marks in the relevant subject and obtained B.Ed Degree (Bachelor of Education) OR Post Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) and B. A. Ed. /B.Sc. Ed.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Test. Test will be held at at Agartala on 20.11.2016 (Sunday).
