UNION BANK OF INDIA INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 49 POSTS OF FOREX OFFICER AND ECONOMIST. LAST DATE – 28/02/2015
1. Forex Officer (Scale-II): 11 posts. (Gen—2; SC—8; ST—1; OBC—0)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks AND
Post Graduate Diploma in International Banking MBA with specialization in International Banking. Candidates should possess certificate in computer application
Experience: Minimum 2yrs in Forex Department / Trade Finance Department in a Public Sector Bank / Private Sector Bank / Financial Institution / listed Corporates
Age: 20yrs to 25yrs.
2. Forex Officer (Scale-I): 36 posts. (Gen—25; SC—5; ST—2; OBC—4)
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks and Post Graduate Diploma in International Banking or MBA with specialization in International Banking. Candidates should possess certificate in computer application
Experience: One year experience in Forex Department / Trade Finance Department in a Scheduled Commercial Bank / Financial Institution / listed Corporates is preferable.
Age: 20yrs to 30yrs.
3. Economist: 2 posts.(UR)
Qualification: Bachelor‟s Degree with minimum 55% marks and the applicant should have studied Economics as one of the major subjects in graduation
Age: 20yrs to 30yrs.
Note: A relaxation of 5% in the minimum qualification marks will be given to the candidates belonging to reserved category.
The upper age limit indicated above will be counted as on 01.02.2015. The upper age limit will be relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST and 10yrs for PWD candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through online Examination and / or Group Discussion and / or Personal Interview. See officially released advertisement for more details.
The Online Examination, if conducted, will be tentatively held in the month of March / April 2015 at the following centers: (a) Bengaluru (b) Delhi (c) Kolkata (d) Lucknow (e) Mumbai.
