Union Bank Specialist Officer Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection process involves an Online Examination or Test, with variations in structure based on the postcodes. There is a penalty for wrong answers and a minimum qualifying mark for each category. Candidates are then shortlisted for a Personal Interview (PI), assessed on various criteria. Group Discussion (GD) may be conducted for some posts, with qualifying marks.
The final selection is based on the aggregate marks from the Online Examination, PI, and/or GD, depending on the process undertaken. Merit lists are prepared for respective categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/GEN), and candidates are selected up to the number of vacancies. The ratio of candidates called for PI may be modified at the bank’s discretion.

Union Bank SO Recruitment 2024 Application Fees
Applicants from the General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories are required to pay Rs. 850, inclusive of GST, as the non-refundable application fee. On the other hand, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are subject to a reduced fee of Rs. 175, inclusive of GST. Please note that these charges cover the application processing and are non-refundable.
