ASSISTANT COMMANDANTS

No. of Vacancies: 159 Nos.

 

Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) wise vacancies:
Border Security Force (BSF) – 35 Posts
Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) – 36 Posts
Central Industrial Security Force(CISF) – 67 Posts
Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) – 20 Posts
Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) – 01 Post

 

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University.

Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for appointment to the post of Assistant Commandants.

Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the prescribed Physical and Medical Standards for admission to Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants), Examination, 2021. See detailed notification (link given below).

 

Age Limit: A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August, 2021, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1996 and not later than 1st August, 2001

 

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

The Union Public Service Commission will hold a Written Examination on 08th August, 2021 for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.200/-. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST AND ALL FEMALE CANDIDATES.
