UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISSION – NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST (UGC-NET) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR UGC-NET. LAST DATE — 02/03/2021

 

DECEMBER 2020 CYCLE (MAY 2021) OF NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST (UGC-NET)

 

Educational Qualification: General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST, OBC, PwD, Third Geneder candidates) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions in Humanities and Social Science (including languages), Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test. See detailed advertisement for list of subjects and etc (link given below).

 

Candidates’ Selection: The December 2020 Cycle (May 2021) of UGC NET will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in multi shifts tentatively on May, 2021. The Examination shall be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500 for Gen-EWS/OBC NCL and Rs.250/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates). Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) — https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 02/02/2021 to 02/03/2021

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISSION – NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST (UGC-NET) AT THIS STAGE.
